Dr.Sindhu, Professor, Principal and  Chairperson of University College of Management Hyderabad, JNTUH  She was Director for two years from May 2020 till October 2022  School of Management Studies, JNTU Hyderabad.

Dr. Sindhu MBA. Ph.D. in Business Management from Osmania University, Hyderabad and has more than 27 years of experience in teaching, training and research. She qualified in the JRF and UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi in 1997.

She is awarded also CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership in December 2022 Certified Management Institute, United Kingdom. She was a member of Censor Board, Central Board of Film Certification, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting during 2020-2023

Her passion includes motivating, mentoring and facilitating Management students to perform at their best. She uses interactive teaching methodology as pedagogy. Her Research Interests is in the area of Finance especially in Investment Management, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Equity and Bond Valuation, Contemporary Issues in Finance, Human Resources Management.

Dr. Sindhu worked as co-ordinator for MBA (PTPG) and joint MBA Program of Central Michigan University (CMU), USA and School of Management Studies, JNTUH. She has also worked as Coordinator, Directorate of Research and Development of JNTUH from September 2012 to October 2015. 

Dr. Sindhu has published 136 research papers in International and national Journals and Conferences/ Seminars. She has authored three books. She is editorial board member and reviewer for many Management Journals.

 Dr. Sindhu is awarded Outstanding Professor award in Business Management by Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society (IEOM society) in the fourth Indian International             Conference held during 7^th and 8^th November 2024 at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological    University Hyderabad jointly organized by IEOM and JNTUH.

Women in Education in 25^th Business School Affaire – Dewang Mehta National Education Award, on 15^th April 2017 at Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad. Recently, she is recipient of Woman in Industry and Academia award in August 2022 from Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society International. She is also awarded Woman Achiever of Hyderabad on 8^th March 2021 by Siddham foundation a NGO.

Fourteen  Ph.D.s in the area of  Business Management has been awarded and two submitted for evaluation under her guidance. Presently she is guiding six (5) Ph.D. scholars as a Supervisor. She is also an examiner for Doctoral Programmes (Ph.D.) for the universities of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and also foreign universities in the area of Business Management. She has guided more than 664 projects of MBA students of all the programmes of the school.

She is the Member, Board of Studies (BOS) – Management Studies in various affiliated colleges as a University Nominee, board of studies member Central University of Tamil Nadu, Osmania University, CBIT, Engineering Staff College of India and other universities. She has organized more than Seventy Five (78) Seminar/ workshops/ conferences/ training and refresher courses in association with academia and industry. She is a life member of various professional bodies like NHRD, Hyderabad, Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), etc.

She has delivered   seventy six (82) expert lectures in various institutions and universities in the areas of Finance, Research Methodology, Interactive Teaching Methodology, Team Building etc. Earlier, She was also officer- In-charge examinations, School of Management Studies, JNTUH and placement officer as well. 

She has initiated Women Entrepreneurship during 2010-2012 as a president of JNTUH Women Employees Association. She actively conducted Seminars/ Work shop and health Check - up for the employees of JNTUH and as a social responsibility visited and contributed funds to blind school, orphanages, old-age home etc. during her tenure.
