Dr. Sindhu is an accomplished academic leader, Professor of Business Management, Principal, and Chairperson of the University College of Management, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). With more than 28 years of distinguished experience in higher education, she has established an outstanding record in academic leadership, research, institutional development, teaching excellence, and industry engagement.

She previously served as Director, School of Management Studies, JNTUH, from May 2020 to October 2022, where she spearheaded academic reforms, strengthened research initiatives, enhanced industry collaborations, and promoted quality assurance in management education. Throughout her career, she has successfully held several key academic and administrative positions, including Coordinator of the Directorate of Research and Development, Coordinator of the MBA (Part-Time) Programme, Coordinator of the Joint MBA Programme with Central Michigan University (USA), Officer-in-Charge of Examinations, and Placement Officer. Her administrative leadership has significantly contributed to institutional growth, academic governance, and student development.

Dr. Sindhu earned her MBA and Ph.D. in Business Management from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She qualified the prestigious UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission in 1997. She further strengthened her leadership credentials by earning the CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom.

An internationally recognized researcher, Dr. Sindhu has made substantial contributions to the fields of Finance and Business Management, with research interests spanning Investment Management, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Equity and Bond Valuation, Contemporary Finance, and Human Resource Management. She has published 137 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings and has authored three books. She serves on the editorial boards of several scholarly journals and is a reviewer for leading management publications, contributing to the advancement of quality research and academic scholarship.

As a dedicated research mentor, Dr. Sindhu has successfully supervised 16 doctoral scholars who have been awarded the Ph.D. degree, with two additional theses submitted for evaluation, and she is currently guiding six doctoral researchers. She has also supervised more than 721 MBA research projects, nurturing generations of management professionals and researchers. Her expertise is widely recognized through her appointments as a Ph.D. examiner for numerous universities across India and international institutions.

Her academic leadership extends beyond JNTUH through active participation in curriculum development and quality assurance.
